They are responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and supporting the fulfillment of all positions. This position also plays an essential role in developing initiatives in support of building the candidate pipeline, attracting qualified workforce talent, creating recruitment partnerships, and successfully executing suitable placements for positions.Benefits:$50K - $70K per yearHealth, Dental, and Vision PlansSick payPTOSupplemental BenefitsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Conducting a high volume of resume screenings and interviews for designated positions regularly in the food industry and culinary events.Successfully recruit management and hourly associate positions in the food and event industry (Hotels, Hospitals, Corporate Café, Country Clubs, Event Planners, Universities, and Caterers).Advertise, attract, source, and identify qualified candidates using a variety of channels for open roles (Barista, Chef, Sous Chef, Server, Hostess, Event Supervisor) based on position criteria.Serve as the brand ambassador to recruit talent at off-site locations (e.g., schools, workforce centers, community events, etc.)Utilize techniques and tools to attract passive and actively seeking candidates.Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, skills, competencies, character fit, integrity, and compatibility for the role.Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries to relevant parties.Manage job boards and continually expand applicant reach for recruitment purposes.Providing comprehensive support throughout the hiring process, including posting jobs, running ads, reviewing applications, conducting phone screenings and interviews, updating the applicant tracking system, etc.Use creative and innovative recruitment tactics as well as more traditional methods such as building relationships with community organizations, colleges, employment agencies, etc. while maintaining legal compliance.Assist with the onboarding process for new hires as needed.Other duties, projects, and tasks as per business needs.Skills:Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to match candidates to compatible roles.A track record of delivering results, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft applications, recruiting websites, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).The ability to work with a sense of urgency and maintain professional composure under pressure.Strong business acumen and market insight.Effective negotiation, influencing, and communication skills (both verbal and written).A high level of work ethic, integrity, and confidentiality.The ability to build positive working relationships with hiring managers at all levels.Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.Working knowledge of employment law and legislation related to recruitment.Proficiency in written and spoken English; business-related mathematics and data analysis skills.Minimum Qualifications:2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced management recruitment role, preferably in a hospitality setting.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.Knowledge of the culinary (Food and Food Service) industry.A degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is a plus.Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit conscientiousness about assignments.Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with others and cultivating constructive working relationships.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
