JOB DESCRIPTION
Research, recruit, select, interview and refer qualified candidates to unpaid positions as assigned. Requires significant interviewing skills, knowledge of manufacturing and specialized company functions, general understanding of Jabil Circuit HR policies and procedures, and basic understanding of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Cooperation with managers and supervisors to determine the required knowledge, skills, abilities and other qualifications of candidates.
- Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to find and attract qualified candidates.
- Initiating contacts with potential candidates for initial screening and arranging interviews.
- Reviewing applications and interviewing candidates for information about employment, education, skills, salary expectations and providing information about the organization and the position.
- Posting job advertisements in various media, including the Internet.
- Participation coordination, organization and active participation at job fairs.
- Maintaining relationships with educational institutions, alumni, and other public organizations to find and attract qualified candidates.
- Exchanging Internet recruiting techniques with colleagues to improve candidate search efficiency .
- Providing information to candidates about company facilities and employment opportunities.
- Maintaining and maintaining records in accordance with federal, state, AAR and EEOC requirements.
- Conducting public presentations at educational institutions, organizations, trainings and job fairs regarding recruiting, organizational structure and opportunities.
- Coordinating and arranging necessary travel for candidates who are interviewing or moving, as needed.
- li>Preparation of job offer letters for potential candidates, in accordance with compensation guidelines.
