In close coordination with the HR Manager, the Recruiter plays a vital role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring the best talent for the organization in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Fund, as well as the Ukrainian Labor Code. The responsibilities span various stages of the recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new hires.
Main responsibilities and tasks:< /p>
- Job Postings: Creating and publishing job advertisements on various job boards, social media, and other channels.
- Sourcing Candidates
- strong>: Actively searching for potential candidates through online databases, social networks, and employee referrals.
Candidate Screening and Selection
- Resume Review: Screening resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Initial Interviews: Conducting initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Shortlisting: Narrowing down the candidate pool and coordinating with hiring managers to select finalists.
Interview Coordination
- Scheduling Interviews: Organizing and scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Interview Preparation: Preparing interview questions and assessment criteria in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Conducting Interviews: Participating in or leading interviews as needed, ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates.

Candidate Assessment and Evaluation- Assessment Tools: Utilizing various assessment tools and techniques, such as skills tests, personality assessments, and work samples.
- Feedback Collection: Gathering and compiling feedback from interviewers to inform hiring decisions.
- Reference Checks: Conducting reference checks to verify candidate qualifications and work history.

- Job Offers: Extending job offers to selected candidates and negotiating terms of
Education and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- A master’s degree or additional qualifications would be advantageous
- Proven experience in recruitment 2+ years.
- Previous experience with an NGO is desirable
Skills:
- Solid use of the MS office software (including Word, Excel, Outlook) is compulsory.
- Proficiency in HR software such as Workday, BambooHR, or similar platforms
Soft skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Ethical judgment and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Language Requirements:
- Ukrainian or Russian as mother tongue. Proficiency in English B1/B2 is mandatory.
- Ability to draft clear and concise reports, presentations, and HR documentation.
Other Desirable Qualities:
- Commitment to the principles and ethos of HEKS/EPER.
- Willingness to travel frequently to field sites and potentially challenging environments.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing scenarios and unexpected challenges.
- Familiarity with the socio-political landscape of the region is beneficial.
