React Developer with Python (MedTech) in Sigma IT Poland

We are looking for:

We are looking for a talented Fullstack Developer with strong frontend development skills in TypeScript/React, decent backend level skills in Python to join a team of our client. This small sub-team builds the entire application. Often, new front-end functionality requires some back-end changes, so we need a software engineer who is able to work in this way.

Our German client is an AI-driven biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of advanced medicines. Their vision is to make data science a driver of innovation in oncology .

The project is a radiomics viewer for oncology research. It enables the visualization of 3D radiology volumes and allows radiologists to make annotations, track patients' tumours, integrate with AI/deep learning models and much more. 

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract  

• UoP: 15 000 – 17 000 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 120 – 140 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on the frontend ;
• Strong experience in working in TypeScript with React ;
• Some experience with Python and related frameworks;
• Some previous exposure to cloud services (pref. AWS);
• A working knowledge of Linux/Unix including Bash scripting;
• Hands-on skills with SQL databases (pref. PostgreSQL);
• Fluency in English (C1) to work effectively in a multinational team;
• Location in Poland for easy signing of cooperation offers and occasional team meetings.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Comp. Science / Engineering degree (or equivalent);
• Image processing background;
• Cornerstone3D;
• OpenAPI;
• Github / GitHub Actions;
