Established in 2010, Delasport delivers a one-stop-shop solution of Sports Betting and Online Casino from a White-Label, with a full range of management services to a Plug&Play iFrame and a complete Turnkey. We are establishing an R&D center in Kyiv, and are looking for top talents to join our team.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide strategic direction and leadership to two development teams.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D projects.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.Guide the design and development of micro-service architecture applications.Oversee the implementation of Java 21, Kafka, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, React.js, and React Native in projects.Optimize the software development life cycle (SDLC) to improve efficiency and quality.Implement and monitor metrics to ensure continuous improvement in the development process.Promote the use of automation tools and processes to enhance productivity.Ensure all software development activities comply with security standards and regulations.Act as a liaison between development teams and senior management.Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders.REQUIREMENTS8+ years of commercial development experience using Java-related technologies.At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.Proven experience managing teams developing micro-service architecture applications.Extensive experience with Java 21, Kafka, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Reactjs, and React Native.Strong proficiency in Java 21 and micro-service architecture.Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud.Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.NICE TO HAVEExperience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of additional programming languages and technologies.Experience in R&D or innovation-focused roles.WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUModern office in Podil with an uninterruptible power supply and the InternetPersonal time off (21 business days of paid vacation, unlimited sick leaves, paid days on special occasions)Public holidaysHealth insurance with the broker which is available from the first month of cooperationLife insurance with the broker which is available from the first month of cooperationModern technical equipmentEnglish courses with native speakersUkraine-based educational programsSports activities reimbursementCorporate entertainmentsHappy hours on FridaysGig contract support Show moreShow less Position level Not applicable Type of employment Full time Job duties Engineering Industries Construction works
