This position is ultimately responsible for data entry, accounts payable, customer invoicing, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, monthly reporting, & tax filings. The Bookkeeper is also responsible for the QuickBooks connections to auxiliary software including our Dext expense management program and Project Management software.Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Functions: Processing & entering incoming invoices compile weekly & monthly financial reporting Correspond with subcontractors to ensure up-to-date paperwork including W-9s and vendor payment information Collaborate with External Accountants for period-end close requests Assist in the preparation and filing of periodic tax returns Maintain the integration between our construction management program and QuickBooks Assist the President in work tasks as requestedRequired Skills & Abilities: Ability to learn new software Ability to prioritize job responsibilities Detail-oriented and highly organized Critical Thinking Excellent verbal & written communication skillsBehaviors: Resourceful Shows integrity Displays initiative Takes ownership Good listener Precise & Thorough Trustworthy Collaborative Transparent Humble Focused Takes Direction WellExperience and Education: High School diploma or equivalent Previous accounting experience Previous construction experience a plus QuickBooks experience requiredThank you for reading this entire posting.
