How old is the project? What stage is it at?
We are in the ed-tech space helping hundreds of thousands of students deal with academic hurdles and questions. We have been around since 2014, overgrowing every year. Furthermore, we are currently working on expanding the functionality of our product, all while focusing on improving customer experience and increasing our financial metrics.
Our company is a B2B2C educational platform that provides academic paper writing services. Our clients can choose the type of work, set requirements and deadlines, and choose the author. In addition, online chat allows customers and authors to communicate with each other to clarify.
We also provide services for checking papers for plagiarism, editing and correcting text, and training and advice on improving research paper writing skills. Our team of writers consists of only the best experts, who are rigorously screened and constantly improve their skills.
Our platform also provides the opportunity to receive feedback from authors and ask for technical support and help in choosing the best work.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the QA team, guiding the development, mentoring, and evolution of automation frameworks for comprehensive testing;
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates, annual evaluations, share feedback, and develop the QA team by highlighting weak spots and giving recommendations to improve them;
- Manage workload distribution, assigning tasks appropriately based on team members’ skills and project requirements;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and other QA members, to prioritize and resolve identified defects;
- Manage customer support issues, collaborate with support agents and develop team for timely resolution
- Identify opportunities for test automation and advocate for its adoption to streamline testing processes and improve overall efficiency;
- Integrate AI technologies into test automation to enhance test coverage, accuracy, and efficiency;
- Establish and enforce QA processes and best practices, ensuring alignment with the overall software development and release cycles;
- Define and communicate QA strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives to ensure the highest quality standards;
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and reports;
- Create and implement a strategic vision for QA, including long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Monitor and assess QA metrics to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of the QA processes;
- Initiate and maintain the approach of Root Cause Analysis of the Quality gaps and drawbacks to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future;
- Coordinate and facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and retrospective sessions to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- Identify and assess risks related to software quality, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies;
- Oversee performance and security testing activities, ensuring the software meets all required standards;
- Identify opportunities for test automation and advocate for its implementation
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years in software testing, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role;
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns;
- Deep understanding of REST API concepts and testing methodologies, familiarity with Postman;
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and WebSocket protocols;
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in utilizing the Git version control system;
- Competent knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries;
- Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting back-end issues, using tools like logs analysis and monitoring solutions;
- Ability to read, understand, and write code in Python;
- Familiarity with Python frameworks like Django or FastAPI;
- Expertise in configuring Continuous Integration (CI) jobs via GitHub Actions and pipelines using Jenkins;
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for test automation tasks;
- Ability to innovate and drive forward-thinking automation solutions;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with development teams, stakeholders, and other QA members;
- Strong comprehension of Quality Assurance (QA) processes and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly within agile paradigms;
- Experience in monitoring tools (Datadog);
- Advanced knowledge in performance and security testing.
Will be a plus:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Knowledge and practical experience with Playwright;
- Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium;
- Familiarity with JUnit or JMeter for performance and load testing;
- Base or Advanced certifications in software testing or quality assurance(ISTQB,CSTE,CAST).

Yes, of course! Our office is equipped with everything necessary, ensuring uninterrupted work, even during blackouts.

Yes. We understand the importance of being safe.
- Do you cooperate with Russia and its citizens?
No. Our company was founded in 2014, and even then, we understood that Russia is an aggressor country, and we do not want to have any relations with it.
- Did the company support its employees at the beginning of the war?
Of course! The principal value of our company is people. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, everyone received monetary compensation. We have also created coordination groups for the location of the temporary stay.
