QA Senior/Lead (Device Team) in Ajax Systems

R&D is responsible for the development of devices at Ajax, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA. Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems accompanies the product both at the development stage and in the process of production and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and flooding. We are looking for a person who has experience in embedded testing and has already encountered the fact that HW and FW delivery processes are not perfect in the world of embedded testing. A person who likes to find problems where it seemed that they cannot be in principle. Someone who is interested in electronics, knows what a diode bridge is and will be able to understand technology faster than a developer can spot bugs. Duties: - research and manual testing of HW and FW of new devices; - research of product requirements and discussion of all nuances with stakeholders; - participation in preparation of test documentation at all levels (both writing and review); - reporting on the progress and results of testing; - mentoring and supervising the QA team; - monitoring the effectiveness of the QA team members; - classification and prioritization of tasks; - cooperation with PM , developers, AQA, support team, etc.; - resolution of critical issues at the production stage; - review of product testing requirements at the production stage. Requirements: - 3+ years of QA experience; - experience and strong hardware testing skills; - experience in creating documentation (test cases, checklists, reports, metrics); - experience mentoring other team members; - deep knowledge of QA methodologies and process management skills; - ability to prioritize and decompose; - deep knowledge of electronics; - technical education.
