QA Lead Engineer in Pro recruitment

We are looking for a QA Lead who will take the lead in ensuring the quality of the entire digital complex of miltech products — from the embedded firmware of controllers and navigation systems, to API integrations, desktop management tools and web interfaces for operators. This is a large-scale, complex and mass-produced product, where errors affect not only users, but also the effectiveness of intelligence and strike systems.

We scale production from hundreds to thousands of units every month, so the quality of the software and its interaction with the hardware are critical!

You will be responsible for building a comprehensive testing strategy, managing the QA team and creating processes that will guarantee the stable quality of all system components: firmware, UI, telemetry, algorithms, integrations and their interaction with each other. The work will be closely related to the hardware development and production team.

Mission: Create a systematic, predictable approach to mass miltech product quality and prevent a single release from entering the field that is not meets critical reliability standards.

Your key tasks:

• Work closely with developers and engineers to quickly elimination of root causes of problems and prevention of releases with critical bugs in the first half of the year.

• Ensuring system testing of hardware and software complexes and stable interaction of all components (sensors, drivers, MCU, firmware, UI).

• Development and support of test plans, test cases and scenarios, as well as implementation of mandatory test documentation standards in the first 6 months.

• Conducting functional, regression, and performance testing in the first half of the year.

• Working with low-level diagnostic and validation equipment.

• Formation of transparent reporting on software quality before and after releases, including the number and criticality of defects.

• Prevent releases with critical "bugs" in systems in the second half of the year.

• Optimization of the testing methodology and implementation of automation, which will ensure stable releases no longer than 3 months.

• Strategic vision of QA as a comprehensive product quality assurance system and experience working with hardware and software complexes and integrated systems.

• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to detect small flaws at an early stage, preventing critical problems in the future.

• Persistence and the ability to argue a technical position, influencing team and product decisions.

• Leadership qualities: building a strong QA team, mentoring, motivating and effectively collaborating with Dev, Embedded, Hardware and Product.

• Deep technical expertise: understanding embedded system architecture, sensors, communication protocols, network interactions, and UI.

• Experience in testing complex multi-level systems: manual and automated testing, integration, regression, performance testing and end-to-end functionality verification.

• Successful track record of delivering stable releases on time and the ability to adapt to new technologies while training and guiding the team.
