We’re looking for a QA Lead  to join our team! This role is multi-disciplined, requiring  helping developers across a wide range of disciplines automate testing processes. The ideal candidate will be interested in working in a high energy, creative, and collaborative environment. You are entrepreneurial in spirit and enjoy wearing many hats. You have a deep understanding of the QA process, including how bugs are found, reported, and addressed. Using this knowledge, your goal is to lead both the manual and  automated tests to increase reliability, and quality of the product and efficiency of the development team. 

 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Create QA Roadmap for both testing, and QA Automation. 
  • Manage, grow, and develop the QA team to be operationally excellent. 
  • Create comprehensive test documentation, including Test Cases and Checklists.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to dissect features and identify critical automation components.
  • Integrate with backend systems, frontend systems, and game engine tools to support test automation.
  • Train and mentor junior and mid-level QA Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with various departments (Design, Art, Audio, Engineering) to enhance project quality.
  • Apply strong attention to detail, and initiative to ensure thorough testing and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to scope testing efforts for new features and assess regression impacts.
  • Prioritize test scenarios and develop execution plans to implement these scenarios effectively.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to enhance pipelines and ensure smooth automated testing workflows.
  • Continuously drive improvements to processes and tools for both manual and automated testing. 

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in creating and writing test documentation (test plans, smoke tests, reproduction steps, Etc.)
  • Experience building roadmaps for manual and automated testing. 
  • 5+ years of experience as SDET, Sr. / Lead QA, or Automation Engineer working on a multiplayer project.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or newer (Ideally UE 5 +).
  • Experience with version control systems such as perforce.
  • Intermediate English+; (Part of the team speaks only English)

 

PLUSES

  • Experience in designing and implementing automated game testing systems
  • Programming skills in c++/python, or Blueprint Scripting
  • API Automation and UI Automation experience
  • Experience working with Gauntlet in Unreal Engine 5
  • Experience with Jenkins or equivalent
  • Experience with TestRail or equivalent
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence or equivalent.
