Test Specialist / Manual and Functional Testing

For a leading company that specializes in innovative solutions and high-quality products, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester (m/f/) to strengthen the team. d) with more than five years of professional experience and excellent language skills in German and English.

In this role, you will support our European customer in the area of ​​software testing with the following main tasks:

•            Planning, creation, Execution, analysis and documentation of interface tests and functional tests in collaboration with the specialist departments and the developers

•            Module, integration, system and acceptance tests for software solutions

•            Coordination/implementation of internal and external software tests (Business Approval / End2End customer tests)

•            Close collaboration with the development team in evaluating test results and determining necessary corrective measures / error handling

•            Derivation of test cases based on of requirements documents and workshops  

•            Checking the requirements for completeness and testability  

•            Definition and further development of test scenarios as well as creation of test specifications

•            Monitoring of the test processes and participation in appropriate error management  

•            Support in the gradual transition from manual testing to complete test automation

Your profile

•            More than five years of professional experience in software testing

•            In-depth experience in the areas of software testing, development and error management 

•            In-depth knowledge in the area of ​​end2end testing with a specialist area 

•            Very good knowledge of the German language (at least C1 level)  

•            Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level)  

•            Familiar with agile testing, thinking and methodology (SCRUM)< /p>

•            Customer centric and solution oriented approach/working style 

•            Proactive approach

•            Knowledge of

o            JIRA/Confluence

o            Postman/ARC REST client

o            SOAP UI

o            API interface (REST/SOAP etc.)

o            JSON/XML

o            Activity diagram / process map

Nice-to-have 

•            ISTQB® CTFL tester

•            Experience in test automation (Eclipse/Selenium)

•            Industry knowledge of facility management and construction
