QA Engineer in Wizer

We are looking for a Middle QA interested in cybersecurity. You will be closely working with dev, support and product teams, as well as sales and customer success.An ideal candidate for us is a person who enjoys and thrives in a startup environment, efficiently communicates with the team, and puts in their energy along with others to make the best cybersecurity product worldwide!Frontend stack: ReactJs + hooks; nextJs; HTML5, CCS3; RTK Query & Redux toolkit (state); Material UI framework, JSS & TailwindCss (UI); Storybook; working with preprocessor SASS; React testing library + Jest + mswjs (unit tests); Webpack 5 & ViteJs (bundle); Prettier + Eslint (code).Backend stack: Go/NodeJs, REST/gRPC, PostgreSQL, NATS, Unit and integration tests (mocks), Google Cloud Platform, Sentry.QA stack: Jira/TestRail, Playwright + TS (e2e UI automation), API (Swagger/Postman), Integration tests - Phishing Simulation (GoLang)CI/CD: GitLab, k8s, Google CloudResponsibilities:● Web-based testing of product’s functionality (backend + frontend testing)● Performing backend tests (work with API, DBs, Logs)● Check Lists and Test case creation in accordance with test plan documentation and product requirements● Test Documentation maintenance● Test execution, analyzing test results● Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs● Collaborating with Developers, QA, and Product Owner.Qualifications and Skills:● Intermediate+ English (both spoken and written)● 3+ years of relevant work experience● Proactive and results-oriented personality● Knowledge of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)● Good testing theory knowledge and understanding● Strong knowledge of testing principles and techniques● Experience in writing test documentation, test cases, and bug reports (in English)● Experience in Web testing● Basic understanding of API and how to test it● Basic HTML and CSS knowledge, Chrome DevTools● Basic JS/TS knowledge● Analytical thinkingNice to have:● Experience working with Jira and TestRail● API testing (e.g. Postman or similar tools/frameworks)● Working with Test Automation tools/frameworks● Basic knowledge of SQL● Unix terminal (curl, ssh, git)● Docker experience (basic understanding)● Understanding of CI/CD (GitLab)Project BenefitsThe product company, SCRUM approach, and opportunity to learn about the cybersecurity inside the company (training, video, and a lot more)Multinational team - a great opportunity to improve your communication skills;A fully remote and flexible working schedule;18 days of vacation, 5 days of sick leave, and a days-off on national holidaysMacBook provided on requestBudget for Sport/Insurance (available after probation)Opportunity to work together with the team in the co-working (coworking offices in Kyiv and Lviv)Team buildings and non-work activities
