As a part of strategic IT improvement initiative, we are looking for QA engineer.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the test scenarios
- Plan test campaigns content, workload, schedule
- Analyze requirements
- Apply effective and relevant test design techniques for test cases and checklists creation
- Provide effective measurable test coverage against requirements
- Perform both functional and non-functional testing
- Communicate project/product status
- Contribute to a regression risks analysis and corresponding test set development
- Continuously learn the product and gather expertise in relevant technologies
- Assist customer support on analyzing customer issues and providing extensive detail
- Ensure that projects are delivered with high quality
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, practices, and tools
- Good understanding of SDLC
- Relational database understanding and SQL knowledge
- Experience with API and backend testing
- Experience in testing of distributed web services (HTTP protocol understanding: RESTful services/authentication/JSON/XML, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in software testing
- Familiarity with bug/issue tracking tools
- Structured thinking, efficient planning, and communications skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
