  • We create and develop one of the largest e-commerce applications in Poland

What is it like to work in the team Undefined?

< p> The team consists of 14 people from our side and 20-30 people from the client's side, and the entire cooperation takes place within the framework of agile methodologies, with regular weekly or biweekly sprints.

We are working on advanced solutions such as server performance optimization (from 20 responses per second to 500-600), and Core Web Vitals monitoring, using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and PageSpeed.

As we work mainly remotely, most of our communication takes place online - however, we discuss not only current projects, but sometimes we spend entire days talking about everything that is on the agenda - from home renovations, through electrical modifications , to board games and MTG, to making pizza.

We are looking for people who are not only comfortable with technology, but also ready to contribute their energy and enthusiasm to the team, helping to solve problems and introduce innovations.

You will have the opportunity to develop manual and automated testing practices, test processes and define a testing approach. 

We have abandoned the standard hierarchy of positions and replaced it with a hierarchy of competences. In practice, this means that your boss won't take care of things for you - because he isn't there. However, we believe in your competences and sense of responsibility for the matter.

Must have:

  • Knowledge of ISTQB practices at an advanced level (e.g. ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager)
  • Openness to propose new solutions and improvements
  • Ability to think analytically, create, define and use test data
  • Experience in testing complex web applications
  • Experience in conducting regression tests and supporting the regression process
  • Knowledge of any test framework Cypress/Puppeteer/Playwright/WebdriverIO/Selenium
  • Knowledge of good practices for creating automatic tests, e.g.: Page Object Pattern, Page Factory
  • Knowledge of a version management system, e.g. GIT
  • Basic knowledge of web application architecture
  • Senior (5 years of experience in testing and 2 years of team management)

Your role and its responsibilities

Our current representative is entering the open waters and we need a person who will not be afraid to push herself in a new environment. Experienced in battles (tests and conversations with the client), proudly carrying on her shoulders the interests of the people closest to you - if you are such a person, take a moment to read this announcement. 

Your tasks will be appreciatedelone into two main parts: testing and communication with the client. We work with a Polish e-commerce leader, where the project brings together several dozen people divided into teams of several people. As a team, we work on creating new functionalities, developing existing ones and optimizing performance (including CWV).

Your primary responsibility will be to help shape the testing process. This is extremely important because the testing team is evolving and will consist of people from various organizations - both from us and from the client or third-party companies supporting us in our tasks. As you probably guessed, this means many ideas and a diversified approach to work... and we have our own practices, we adhere to certain values, we believe in producing quality software based on Software Craftmanship.

This is where you come in, all in white.

In this role, it will be crucial to have the ability to set firm boundaries and introduce innovative solutions. You will be responsible for client education and implementation of modern practices, such as true CI/trunk based, working on goals, working with metrics, understanding SOLID and the Software Craftsmanship approach.
