QA Automation Engineer @ Volvo Group in Volvo Group

At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. Our application's business scope includes keeping dealership and employee’s information synchronized with vehicle data such as VIN, configuration, and notes. We also take responsibility for features such as Customer Relationship Management. As a QA Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on key business solutions that are related to both Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks . In this team you should have a balance between the manual testing and the automation . It means that our team will alternate between periods of manual testing duties only and automation to ensure the best results. Tech stack on the project: .NET Core MS Test Azure Test Management (Test Parameters) Selenium WebDriver / Playwright Azure Dependencies Fluent Assertions Rest Sharp Log4Net Azure Pipelines (scheduled twice daily, customized run configurations) Page Objects Skills related to manual testing: Understanding of the techniques for manual testing such as regression, exploratory, ad hoc and performance testing Awareness about agile methodology At least basic knowledge about web apps Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Confluence, Azure Devops Skills in the automation field: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the automation for the frontend and backend solutions Awareness of at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Playwright (or e.g. Cypress - but preferably the first two of these) Familiarity with MSTest, NUnit, and REST Assured or any other similar tool At least basic knowledge about Object-Oriented Programing and C# language Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Transport is at the core of modern society.
