Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and innovative QA Automation Engineer to join Robo Wunderkind. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. With your expertise, you will design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate our React-based web application’s functionality, performance, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our web applications.
- Work closely with the development team to understand product requirements and features to develop effective test plans and test cases.
- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools for our web application using Playwright and other relevant technologies.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies, working closely with the development team to facilitate their resolution.
- Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations to improve product quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in QA automation and apply best practices to enhance our testing processes.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient in automation testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.
- Experience with JavaScript and familiarity with React and Node.js for testing web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools for web applications.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficient in scripting languages and automation frameworks relevant to web application testing.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bonus — Experience with testing Unity mobile applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in QA automation or a related role.
- Proven track record of implementing automated tests for web and mobile applications.
