QA Analyst/Engineer in Ukrayinskiy procesingoviy centr

Attention: this vacancy is temporary, during the service of a permanent employee in the Armed Forces.

Duties:

• analysis of requirements and specifications;
• compilation of a test plan;
• design of test cases and their execution, analysis of the obtained results;
• documentation of detected errors, writing bug reports, writing test reports;
• tracking the life cycle of errors;
• performing regression tests;
• optimizing the testing process;
• communication with customers and development teams.

Requirements to candidate:

• knowledge and understanding of testing theory: software development methodologies, their impact on testing, SDLC, STLC, types of testing, levels of testing, test design techniques, test documentation, classification and defect life cycle;
• tools and technologies: testing tools, task management systems, version control systems;
• knowledge of the basic principles of client-server architecture, understanding the role of the client and server in interaction, and as well as the process of data transfer between them
• network protocols, in particular TCP and traffic capture and analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark);
• data transfer formats, especially JSON and XML, their use in intercomponent communication;
• test automation tools (preferably based on Java)
• basic knowledge of UNIX systems:
  * Command line (Shell), its main commands
  * Work with files and directories
  * Basics of using text editors
  * Concepts of access rights (chmod) and ownership of files and directories
• Databases (PL/SQL):
  * Basics of the PL/SQL language, skills in writing and executing SQL queries
• Intermediate English language

A big plus will be:

• previous experience in similar positions in the banking field or work experience in the field related to the processing of payment transactions, interaction with payment systems or service providers;
• experience in working with ATM and/or POS terminals;
• experience in one (or several areas): CI/CD pipeline settings, Shell Scripting, RPM Package Manager, Cryptography, load testing.
