Python programmer in Ocean Script

We create an independent platform for managing a network of outdoor LED screens.

It is a cloud-based solution for displaying advertising, booking, technical monitoring, user roles, financial analytics and integration with real devices via 4G.

The goal is scaling to 1000+ screens with complete independence from hardware manufacturers.

• Development of the backend part of the platform in Python
• Implementation of REST/GraphQL API for web and mobile clients
• Integration with LED controllers (via API or SDK)
• Development of schedules, slots and display of videos
• Integration with email, push, Telegram/SMS messages." by frontend/design/DevOps team

Requirements

• Experience with Python 3.9+ from 3 years
• Knowledge of FastAPI or Django REST Framework
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Understanding queues: Celery, Redis or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of authorization principles (OAuth2, JWT)
• Experience in designing scalable architectures
• Working with Docker

• Experience with advertising platforms or CMS
• Knowledge of IoT/controllers (eg NovaStar)
• Experience with Prometheus, Kubernetes, Sentry
• Working with geodata or maps (Leaflet, OpenLayers)
