We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead/Architect with Network Experience to work with our client who operates one of the world’s largest IPv4 and IPv6 peered networks. As a Technical Leader, you will work closely with the leadership team, including the CEO, and directly manage and observe the work of 1-3 cross-functional teams, create from scratch and build a new virtual network application to be part of the global network of Data Centers and public clouds.Responsibilities:
- In close collaboration with the leadership team, develop the architecture and lead the virtual network application product to the production stage
- Set a long-term technical direction and evaluate different technical possibilities
- Drive technical decision-making within the software teams to ensure product delivery and provide technical guidance to the team
- Operate with a fail-fast approach
- Build a team of programmers when the project grows (defining job roles and attracting new talent)
- Lead and manage a team of programmers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Experience as a Technical Leader / Software Architect or similar roles
- Proven experience managing and building agile-based engineering teams for SAAS services, delivering products from start to finish.
- Strong proficiency with Python, Go
- Solid understanding of Linux, APIs, web services, and networking
- Familiarity and comfort with microservices, virtual networks , and virtualization
- Experience with modern CI/CD principles and tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working in a startup environment is preferred
