We are seeking a skilled Python/Full Stack Engineer to join our technical team in enhancing existing web applications and developing new ones. This role is ideal for a developer passionate about leveraging modern technologies to build robust, scalable solutions. The primary focus will be on Python-based full-stack development, with an emphasis on the following technology stack:

— Python (Flask)

— Plotly/Dash

— Pandas

— PostgreSQL

— Bootstrap/HTMX

— React (future implementation)

— Cloud

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services using Flask, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and scalable. You will create interactive, data-driven applications and dashboards, utilizing Plotly/Dash to visualize datasets. The role also involves data manipulation and analysis, managing and optimizing relational databases, and working on the frontend with Bootstrap for responsive design and HTMX for dynamic, server-driven user interfaces.

As the project evolves, there will be opportunities to incorporate React into the tech stack, enabling more dynamic and complex user interactions.

Additionally, you will participate in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security.

Initially, you will be part of a small team, potentially serving as a key individual contributor to prepare the solution for official deployment. This position offers the chance to take ownership of significant parts of the project and influence its direction from the early stages.
