Position Summary: Weare looking for someone excited toparticipate asa Lead Software Engineer , you’ll play apivotal role inshaping and advancing this cutting-edge platform. Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: Lead the implementation ofnew platform features based onwell-defined architecture and requirements. Oversee patching and bug fixes for the existing platform, ensuring its stability and reliability. Provide level 2support for production systems, swiftly addressing any critical issues. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and product management. Team Leadership: Lead anagile software development team comprising 3-4 programmers. Mentor junior software engineers, fostering their growth and skill development. Participate actively inSCRUM sprint planning and other agile ceremonies. Best Practices and Quality Assurance: Recommend and enforce software development best practices, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability. Work closely with the DevOps engineering team tostreamline deployment processes, including pre and post-deployment activities. Collaborate with theQA team toensure rigorous testing and quality assurance. Requirements: Bachelor ofScience degree preferred Atleast 7years ofhands-on software development experience. Minimum 1year inateam lead role , demonstrating effective leadership and team management. Good understanding ofSCRUM agile methodology. Atleast 3years ofexperience developing onthe AWS cloud platform . Proficient inusing GitHub and applying Gitflow orsimilar source code branching strategies. Strong command ofPython and proficiency in atleast one other programming language. Solid grasp ofrelational database design and development principles, with fluency inSQL. High attention todetail and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal). Fluent inEnglish (spoken and written) additional language(s) aplus. Experience supporting large, global technology deployments, and working with different cultures. Desired Skills: AWS Administration: Experience inAWS administration, including infrastructure management and optimization. AWS Lambda Functions: Expertise indeveloping AWS Lambda functions using Python. Database Technologies: Familiarity with TimescaleDB orPostgreSQL. Statistical Analysis: Knowledge ofstatistical analysis techniques. Machine Learning Interest: Interest inorexposure tomachine learning concepts.
