We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Middle Python Backend Engineer to join our growing team!
About the project: A dynamic literature search platform that automates the process of searching academic literature, extracting relevant data, and presenting it to users through an intuitive web interface. The platform will cater specifically to the pharmaceutical industry, providing a scalable and user-friendly solution for literature searches and data extraction.
Duration: 2-3 months

Requirements:

• Extensive backend development experience, with a strong focus on  Python and AWS ;
• Experience with Next JS;
• Solid understanding of critical production systems concepts, including high availability, reliability, security, and scalability;
• Queue concept understanding;
• Postgres;
• GCP Cloud Run Job for processing sources of data and storing to DB;
• 3rd party API integration, e.g. ChatGPT API integrations;
• English B2;
• Team-player with good soft skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Backend Systems;
• Ensure system reliability and security;
• Manage Data processing and Storage;
• Integrate Third-Party APIs;
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of the system;
