We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team.

Project Description:

The client is seeking additional partners to assist in developing their backlog of features. One of the immediate tasks involves migrating from PostgreSQL to MongoDB to better scale their product listings. Additional tasks will be disclosed during ongoing meetings.

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Python
• Strong hands-on experience with the Django framework
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL; migration experience to MongoDB is a strong plus
• In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• At least B2 English level or higher

Nice to Have:

• Experience with alternative Python frameworks
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance web applications using Django
• Optimize and refactor code, as well as database queries
• Lead or contribute to migration efforts from PostgreSQL to MongoDB
• Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement architectural solutions
• Document code and processes thoroughly
