We are looking for a Python Developer who will work with us on the architecture and code of systems dealing with the processing, analysis and visualization of billions of data records.

About the team:

The team you will join currently consists of 5 people and works in Scrum, in 2-week sprints. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of gemiusAdReal and gemiusDirectEffect products - tools for measuring the visibility of advertising on the Internet and on television. The systems we manage process raw data from users and then present our clients with dozens of different statistics not only of their own ads, but also of their competitors.

On a daily basis, the team deals with, among others:

• developing web applications for our clients,
• optimizing the storage of collected data,
• development, optimization and maintenance of systems processing large amounts of data.

What we expect:

• minimum 3 years of commercial experience working with Python,
• ability to write unit tests,
• knowledge of Git,
• ability to design changes including many modules at the same time,
• experience of working in Linux (Ubuntu) and writing simple scripts in Bash.

Welcome:

• good knowledge of the Django framework,
• basic knowledge of C++ and JavaScript,
• ability working with large data sets,
• experience in using NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra),
• knowledge of the ClickHouse database,
• knowledge of Docker and Jenkins.
