Python Backend Developer in Canyon Development

Canyon Development invites a Python Backend Developer to the development team. Our company develops electronic devices and printed circuit boards. We have more than 100 successfully implemented projects of medium and large complexity for foreign clients. Usually, work on projects starts with the customer's idea and ends with a prototype or a production line.

The vacancy involves working in the office of the city of Dnipro.

Necessary knowledge and skills for this vacancy:

• higher or professional technical education,
• 2 + years of Python Backend development experience,
• experience working with the Linux operating system at the level of an experienced user,
• experience working with git, multitasking (multithreading), working with databases (SQL, noSQL ) and docker.

Work experience will be a plus:

• experience in Python Backend development in desktop GUI applications, web applications, mobile ,
• Linux: knowledge of systemd configuration, work with file system, network interfaces,
• experience with low level: GPIO and UART,
• deployment of Python applications on devices running Linux,
• teamwork experience,
• mentoring (setting and checking tasks).

Responsibilities:

• participation in designing the architecture of Python applications,
• solving project problems in Python,
• code refactoring,
• code review.
