Our team is looking for: Specialist in public health (prevention of non-communicable diseases)

Responsibilities of our candidate:

• Analysis of European and national legislation in the field of NCD prevention and screening, research of monitoring and surveillance tools.

• Conducting reviews of international scientific literature and comparative analysis of NCD data in countries Europe.

• Participation in the assessment of the surveillance system for risk factors and major NCDs in Ukraine.

• Cooperation with stakeholders: authorities, health care institutions, partner organizations.

• Organization and holding of meetings, events, webinars; coordination of communications within projects.

• Participation in the preparation of draft regulations.

• Evaluation of the effectiveness of risk factor monitoring, identification of gaps and recommendations for improvement.

• Preparation of analytical materials and reports.

Requirements for our candidate:

• Higher education in the field of knowledge: "Health care" (specialty "Public health"), "Biology", "Humanities", "Social and behavioral sciences", "Public management and administration", "Social work".
• Work experience and additional education in medical statistics will be an advantage;
• Knowledge of current legislation in the field of health care;
• Understanding the processes of collection, processing, storage and analysis of monitoring and assessment data on public health issues;
• Understanding NCD prevention issues;
• Proficiency in English at the B2 level;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of approaches and methods definition of indicators for monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation of interventions, programs.
