We provide psychological assistance and supply necessary goods to people affected by the conflict. Our teams in Ukraine consist of dozens of medical workers, logistical and administrative personnel united by our fundamental principles. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. < /span>We are a non-profit organization.  

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

• Education in psychology\medical education
• Additional certification\training in psychotherapy
• Prior participation in psychological first aid training will be an advantage
• Prior participation in training or program of mental health support groups or Problem Management Plus will be an advantage

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years of experience as a psychologist.
• Previous experience working with non-governmental organizations will be an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND SKILLS:

KNOWLEDGE:

< li>Higher education.
• Basic computer skills (word, excel).
• Good knowledge of work context in Ukraine.
• Fluency in spoken Ukrainian. 
• Proficiency in written and spoken English will be a plus.

• Good interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and receive training in mental health programming
• Experience leading and facilitating small groups

• Ability to visit several shelters and conduct personal and group sessions

Terms of cooperation:< /p>

• Term employment contract for the duration of the project (until September 14) with the possibility of extension
• Employee insurance
• Work in a hybrid format: remotely with trips to the Zaporozhye region .
• Clothes must be appropriate to the context and a Medical Teams identification card must be used during working hours.

KEY DUTIES:

• Conducting group sessions of psychosocial support for various groups of IDPs
• Conducting individual consultations for adults and children
• Conducting assessment of clients' mental/psychological health needs and establishing a therapy plan
• Participating in trainings on various psychosocial support techniques
• Identifying and referring cases for individual counseling or psychiatric care
• Providing feedback communication to the MHPSS team leader for continuous evaluation and improvementprograms
