Overview

The 79th Separate Assault Tavri Brigade was created in 1979 and is one of the oldest and most experienced assault brigades in Ukraine. With the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the servicemen of the brigade liberated Slovyansk and defended the Donetsk airport, for which the soldiers were nicknamed "cyborgs". After the start of the full-scale invasion, the brigade heroically defended Mykolaiv, Severodonetsk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Lysychansk and Maryinka.

Responsibilities

• psychodiagnostics
• psychoprophylactic work
• psychological training (education, psychoeducation, trainings)
• conducting psychological consultations and psychocorrective work with military personnel
• crisis psychological assistance
• working with persons with signs of combat mental trauma, GSR, PTSD

Requirements

• full basic psychological education
• personal psychological readiness for the difficulties of working in a combat unit (irregular schedule, risks)
• work experience by profession is mandatory
• possession of special knowledge and practical skills in providing psychological assistance will be an advantage
• having an officer military rank is a priority when selecting candidates

Conditions

• transfer of active military personnel only
• full material support
• mandatory certification and training before performing the assigned task
• financial support from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• guaranteed annual basic leave of up to 30 calendar days + additional leave of 10 days for family reasons
