Crisis in Ukraine

HelpAge has been operating in Ukraine since 2014. Our team consists of more than 600 people, including employees, volunteers and contractors. Our response plan includes cash assistance, food distribution, distribution of non-food items, health kits and dignity, support in access to health services, care and support, hygiene and care products, protection, psychological and psychosocial first aid.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Studies, analyzes and conducts psychological examination and psychological correction of the state of the beneficiarytsars (recipients of social services).
  • Conducts psychological diagnosis of the personality of the recipient of social services, determines the forms, methods, means, terms and procedures of psychological correction.

  • < p>Participates in determining the individual needs of the recipient of social services and drawing up a plan for providing him with social services. 


  • Teaches recipients of social services techniques and methods of self-regulation, self-help and prevention of stressful conditions. 

  • Plans and develops corrective and adaptation programs taking into account the individual, age characteristics of the beneficiaries. >

    Conducts individual and group consultations with recipients of social services.

  • Forms psychological culture and conducts psycho-prophylactic work with beneficiaries and, if necessary, with members of their families. 

  • Provides beneficiaries with psychological support, informational and advisory services. 

  • Follows ethics, respects the dignity of the beneficiary - recipient of social services.

  • Constantly improves his professional level. 


About the candidate for the position:

You must be a citizen of Ukraine

Basic requirements:

  • The presence of a document on higher education in the specialty "Psychology" not lower than the bachelor's level in the specialty of the relevant field of knowledge.
  • Fluency in the state language (for citizens of Ukraine), keeping business documentation and performing professional duties.

Desirable:< /p>

  • experience working with the elderly and/or people with disabilities;
  • knowledge of international humanitarian standards;
