HEKS/EPER is looking for Protection team leader. Base in Odesa with the possibility of field trips.
Job objective
The Protection team leader is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation, coordination, and management of Protection programs, with a focus on providing high-quality services to beneficiaries and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Line management responsibility of the Protection team in the assigned project locations.
Participate in supervising GBV/MHPSS activities implemented by local partners. Coordinate with Fund partners in assigned project locations and follow up on the quality implementation of the GBV/MHPSS project.
Submit timely project reports (monthly/weekly) including quantitative and qualitative data to the upper management.
Agree to the publication of photos with the activity, without an additional form of consent for the use of photos by the Foundation from each activity
Number and Level of Employees Supervised - according to the organizational chart
Team Management & Capacity building
Coordinate with local/ international organizations including local authorities, stakeholders, UN agencies, relevant working groups, and clusters.
Ensure the organization of data, storage of information/documents on the number of registered cases/appeals about psychological/physical violence, etc.
Support collecting all information related to project costs in the location.
Take part in developing methodologies and data collection techniques for assessments, indicators, program management, evaluations, and research related to Protection.
Responsible for the planning and implementation of Protection activities, closely monitoring, evaluating, and reporting their development and flagging potential issues on time.

Competencies & requirements
Language skills: Fluent in Ukrainian and Russian (speaking/reading/writing), English (B1/B2).
Education degree: Secondary diploma (including but not limited to: Psychology, Sociology, etc.)
Work experience: 2- years relevant professional experience compulsory. 6-month experience in NGOs/On-site training in field work is desirable.
