The International Charitable Foundation "Public Health Alliance" announces a competition to fill the vacancy Project specialist: mobile case finding span> HIV (Mobile Case Finding, MCF).
Optimized HIV Case Finding with Regional Mobile Rapid Response Teams (MCFs)' supported by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to the Emergency the US President's Plan to Fight AIDS (PEPFAR).
The overall goal of the MCF project is to increase the effectiveness of the HIV testing strategy by working with risk groups of HIV-positive PLHIV and improving access to ART for HIV-positive persons by actively involving them in medical support programs, as well as meeting the needs of PLHIV and their sexual partners by providing them with an expanded package of services .
The International Charitable Foundation "Public Health Alliance" is a leading public non-profit professional organization that, in cooperation with state partners andcivil society organizations has a significant impact on overcoming the epidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and other socially dangerous diseases in Ukraine, by providing financial and technical support to relevant programs that cover more than 300,000 representatives of the most vulnerable segments of the population, which is the highest indicator in Europe. Job specifications
Basic requirements:
Strong commitment to combating HIV/AIDS and motivation to work;
2 years of experience in the field ofHIV prevention, care or related fields;
Experience of working with/in HIV service organizations, local NGOs, government and/or international institutions;
Knowledge of the epidemiological situation and features of HIV/AIDS programs in Ukraine (preferred);
Knowledge/experience of providing services to populations vulnerable to HIV infection (people, drug users, sex workers, gay men, bisexuals andother men who have sex with men, is an advantage);
Relevant university degree (health care, social sciences, medicine, etc.);
Excellent command of written and spoken Ukrainian and Russian languages. The ability to read and understand texts in English is a must. Knowledge of the English language at an intermediate level is an advantage;
High level of computer literacy, including all standard office applications, including Excel;
Ability to independently complete assigned tasks. Ability to meet strict and numerous deadlines;
Readiness for trips to Ukraine.
Duties:
Manage day-to-day technical, administrative and financial operations related to supporting the implementation of assigned activities (prevention, care and support,DKP or other depending on the current priorities."
Implement improvements, etcovation of the project based on available evidence;
Coordinating all aspects of Alliance-funded activities, monitoring and evaluating Alliance-funded projects implemented by partner organizations on the ground, providing targeted technical support to partners /to Alliance grantees;
Coordinate general program communication with partners/grantees, including regular grantee meetings;
Control the timely provision of reports and other relevant documentation from partners;
Evaluate the capacity and prioritize the needs of potential partners/grant recipients, participate in the evaluation of project proposals/applications submitted to the Alliance by applicant organizations;
Contribute to the development and implementation of plans for providing technical assistance to partners;
Provide ongoing remote and on-site mentoring of partners on various phases of project implementation, including evaluation, intervention design and evaluation;
Propose appropriate structural, managerial, financial and program solutions to achieve optimal results at the level of the Alliance and partners;
Collect, process, analyze and submit relevant information necessary to ensure the effective performance of assigned activities;
Work with the rest of the Alliance team to identify and leverage synergies in work activities;
Attend relevant professional meetings to exchange information and represent the interests of the Alliance in assigned areas;
Contribute to the preparation of reports for donor agencies and other relevant agencies as needed;
Process internal documents;
Perform other duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement project improvements and innovations based on available evidence;
Coordinate all aspects of Alliance-funded activities, monitor and evaluate Alliance-funded projects implemented by partner organizations in the field, provide focused technical support to the Alliance partners/grantees;
Coordinate general program communication with the partners/grantees, including regular grantees’ meetings;
At implementation level, coordinate all phases of subcontract cycle from needs and situation assessments to report and other data analysis;
Monitor timely submission of reports and other relevant documentation from partners;
Assess the capacity and prioritize the needs of potential partners/grantees, participate in evaluation of project proposals/applications submitted to the Alliance by applying organizations;
Contribute to the development and implementation of plans for the delivery of technical assistance to partners;
Provide ongoing remote and on-site mentoring of partners in relation to various phases of project implementation including assessments, intervention design and evaluation;
Suggest appropriate structural, managerial, financial and programmatic solutions to achieve optimal results at Alliance and partners’ level;
Collect, process, analyze and present relevant information required to ensure effective implementation of the assigned activities;
Work with the rest of the Alliance team to identify and utilize synergies in working activities;
