About the organization:

Jesuit Refugee Service in Ukraine (JRS Ukraine) is part of the international Jesuit Refugee Service community, which works with people forced to leave their homes due to war and persecution. Our work is based on accompanying people in difficult life circumstances, respect for the dignity of each person and long-term presence nearby. We work with IDPs and host communities through psychosocial support, education, humanitarian and legal help, in the close interaction of the team.

About the role:

JRS Ukraine is looking for a project / program coordinator - a person who will keep order in processes, coordinate daily work on projects and support the team. There are 3 key areas of work in this role:

1. coordinating the daily work work with data;

2. style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">supporting communication with donors and partners.

This role is not only about the execution of tasks, but about responsibility for the process: seeing what is happening, what needs attention, and by the way leading to completion.

tracking deadlines;

Working with donors and partners

• supporting communication with donors (gathering information, preparing drafts, coordinating data);

• preparation of short materials in English (letters, explanations, updates);

• support in the preparation of grant applications and reports;

• gathering and structuring information for materials (in collaboration with a communications specialist). 

Monitoring and analytics

• keeping tables (beneficiaries, activities, indicators);

• control of data collection and supporting documents;

• preparation of internal updates on the progress of projects;

• basic progress analysis and risk identification. 

Partnerships and coordination on the ground

• Communication with partners (shelters, organizations, communities, schools);

• Coordination of events in different locations;

• Working with different groups of beneficiaries.

We are looking for a person who:

• has experience coordinating projects or programs (from 2 years);
• has experience in the public, humanitarian or social sector;
• can work structurally and handle many tasks simultaneously;

• English at level B2 and above (written and spoken);

• works reliably with Microsoft 365 Office, Google services;

• experience working with tables, tracking and system work;
• responsible, proactive;
• can communicate calmly and professionally;
• ready to work in a small team;
