Purpose of the position
Officer of the CSN project is responsible for the implementation of the Dorcas Ukraine Community Safety Net project in Zaporizhzhia, in accordance with the defined Dorcas quality standards for the specific tasks delegated to him/her.
CSN is one of the leading approaches within Social Empowerment and Protection (SEP). An important aspect of CSN is educating communities about the exclusion of marginalized people and how local structures can be strengthened to support these people. The CSN Project Manager may be required to perform other responsibilities related to SEP in Zaporozhye as assigned, such as: advocacy, asset-based community development, local resource mobilization, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

Main responsibilities and tasks will be as follows:
Project planning, management and implementation
- Significant to the extent to contribute to the high-quality and timely implementation of project activities through regular monitoring;
- Responsible for high-quality personal planning of performed tasks with regular reporting of achievements;
- Responsible for ensuring that project costs for delegated tasks meet budget, and unacceptable costs were minimized through regular monitoring;
- Responsible for full compliance with the Dorcas project cycle management methodology as defined in the Dorcas Project Implementation Manual;
- Takes full responsibility for individual project deliverables, tasks and budgets allocated to him/her, with openness to expert advice provided by technical and/or subject matter experts;
- Assist the SEP Project Manager in timely and high-quality internal and external reporting on all project matters;
Portfolio development
- Assist the SEP project manager by helping to develop new projects and new project budgets, collecting data on the context and needs of the beneficiaries;
- Assist the SEP project manager in the quality design of projects.

Profile
Identity
- The candidate is expected to fully support the vision and mission of Dorcas.
Knowledge and Experience
- Higher professional education in social work, sociology, psychology, public health, or other relevant field;
- Three years of field experience in a similar position, preferably in conflict/post-conflict;
- Advanced knowledge of project cycle management;
- Proficient command of Ukrainian or Russian languages, preferably English.
