We invite a specialist in project monitoring and evaluation to cooperate. The role will consist of ensuring the collection, analysis and interpretation of data on humanitarian programs, as well as the preparation of regular reports for donors and partners. The position involves close cooperation with the monitoring and evaluation manager, the development of monitoring tools, conducting surveys and focus groups, as well as supporting the processes of evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of projects.
DUTIES AND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Supporting program teams in the development of indicators and collection tools data
- Preparation and updating of monitoring and evaluation plans for programs and projects
- Organization and coordination of the data collection process
- Conducting primary and in-depth data analysis, preparation reports, tables, graphs and charts
- Cooperation with program teams to integrate the MEAL component into their activities
- Facilitating the establishment of feedback & complaints mechanisms
- Participation in the preparation of donor reports (in terms of monitoring and evaluation results)
- Collection, generalization and dissemination of lessons learned during project implementation (lessons learned sessions)
- Conducting internal MEAL workshops for employees of the organization
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCES
- Higher education in sociology, statistics, economics, social sciences or other related field
- Experience with data analytics, monitoring and/or project evaluation
- Understanding quantitative and qualitative research approaches
- Confident skills in working with Excel/Google Sheets, data visualization tools
- Analytical thinking, ability to work with a large amount of information
Ability to clearly structure data and formulate conclusionski- Communication and the ability to convey complex information in simple language
- Developed teamwork skills and interactions with colleagues at different levels
WILL BE A PLUS
- Experience in international or non-governmental organizations
Understanding MEAL principles in the humanitarian sector (accountability, learning, outcome harvesting)- Ability to visualize data in special programs (Excel, Canva, PowerBI, etc.)
