Project monitoring and evaluation manager (MEAL officer) in Asociaciya saperiv Ukrayini, GO

The non-governmental organization "Association of Sappers of Ukraine" (ASU) — a certified operator of mine countermeasures, which is engaged in solving the problems of humanitarian demining of the de-occupied territories of Ukraine, invites a Project Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (MEAL officer) to work in our team. NGO "Association of Sappers of Ukraine" — The NGO "Ukrainian Deminers Association" is actively working throughout the territory of Ukraine to increase the security component of the civilian population. Since 2019, our organization has been implementing humanitarian projects in the field of mine action and covers almost all regions of Ukraine. The main field of work of the ASU is anti-mine activities, which includes various directions, such as training citizens on the prevention of risks from explosive objects, assistance to victims of mines and explosive objects, direct humanitarian demining and others. We cooperate with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and international organizations. Candidate requirements: higher education; work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation from 1 year; excellent computer skills and knowledge of a standard package of office programs; analytical mindset, ability to structure information and quickly solve tasks; responsibility and attentiveness, a high level of self-organization; the presence of additional education and relevant certificates in the field of monitoring and evaluation will be an advantage; knowledge of the English language at the Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher will be an advantage. Functional duties: strategy development monitoring and evaluation of projects and planning its implementation in coordination with the management of the organization, financial and project departments, as well as partners of the organization; control of the successful achievement of relevant indicators for projects; collection, documentation and analysis of data and information about progress and achievements on projects; development of tools and evaluation protocols for projects; monitoring of specified indicators within the framework of projects; development of quality tools for checking input data; analysis of the current situation and needs for projects; integration of periodic evaluations as part of the monitoring and evaluation system; control of the execution of planned works for projects; definition, analysis and generalization of the results obtained during monitoring and evaluation; readiness to work in other areas related to the project activities of the organization.
