Project Manager (R&D) in Elvatech

Elvatech is a Ukrainian manufacturing company with more than 30 years of experience, which is one of the leaders in the world market of X-ray fluorescence analyzers for the elemental composition of materials. Our products are used in metallurgy, ecology, geology, chemistry and other fields in more than 50 countries.

In connection with the expansion of the R&D direction, we are looking for a Project Manager who can take over the management of complex technical projects of the full cycle - from the idea to production.

Tasks that await you:

1. Life cycle management of R&D projects

• Formation of technical terms of reference based on market/customer needs;

• Planning of development stages: concept > prototype > tests > transfer in production;

• Control of terms, budget and technical implementation.

2. Coordination of a multidisciplinary team

• Working with electronics engineers, programmers, designers, testers;

• Conducting SCRUM meetings or managing Waterfall phases depending on the project;

• Technical reviews, sprints, assessment of tasks.

3. Technical control

• Compliance with IEC, ISO, RoHS, CE, FDA, etc. standards;

• Integration of components: X-ray source, collimators, detectors, analog and digital electronics, software;

• Analysis and solving critical technical issues: calibration, heat, safety.

4. Interaction with other divisions and partners

• Coordination of priorities with marketing, service, laboratory and management;

• Reporting, presentations, demonstrations of results;

• Communication with technology providers, external contractors.

5. Quality and risks

• Risk analysis (technical, regulatory, production);

• Validation of results, test management: functional, temperature, mechanical, EMC, etc.

Requirements for our candidate:

• Experience in managing technical projects in R&D /production (from 1 year);

• Understanding the life cycle of hardware and software systems;

• Skills of planning, delegation, performance evaluation;

• Experience with Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Excel;

• Technical literacy, ability to read documentation;

• Communication, structural thinking, proactivity.
