The International Charitable Foundation "Public Health Alliance" is a leading non-profit professional organization, which in cooperation with state partners and exerts significant influence to overcome the epidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and other socially dangerous diseases in Ukraine, by providing financial and technical support to relevant programs that cover more than 300,000 representatives of the most vulnerable population groups, which is the highest indicator in Europe. Now the Alliance team includes more than 150 professionals who work in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.


Job specification

Requirements:

  • Relevant university degree (health care, social work, management, etc.).

  • Deep understanding of principles protection, international standards and best practices related to case management, HSR and disability inclusion.

  • Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities, including the development and implementation of MEAL frameworks.

  • Familiarity with donor regulations and reporting requirements, particularly for grants related to protection and gender-based violence programs.

  • Understanding issues of gender equality and empowerment of women in a humanitarian context.

  • Strategic planning, analytics, conflict resolution and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Ukrainian languages.

  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; strong team player.

  • Good report writing skills required.

  • Ability to independently perform assigned tasks and adhere to strict and numerous deadlines.

  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, SPSS or other databases and statistical packages)

  • It is important to be able to think clearly and formulate clearly.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites in the region, attend meetings and events as needed.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Resistance and composure under pressure, the ability to maintain concentration and drive in difficult situations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and oversee case management and advocacy services for persons with disabilities, ensuring effective referral mechanisms.

  2. Managing grants for local NGOs, participating in annual project plans and preparing accurate reports.

  3. Strengthening the technical potential of local NGOs, providing instructions on the protection and methodologies of counter-terrorism.

  4. Develop and implement the MEAL framework, conduct monitoring visits and facilitate learning processes.

  5. Evaluation of the work of partners and the implementation of mentoring on the spot.

  6. Identify gaps and propose solutions for program optimization.

  7. Build partnerships with stakeholders by representing the organization and participating in relevant forums.

  8. Document program activities, promote information exchange.

  9. Ensure effective teamwork and cooperation among team members.

  10. Prepare regular reports on progress, challenges and recommendations for the project management team.

  11. Ensure timely provision of reports and documentation in accordance with project protocols.

  12. Constantly improve professional skills and develop personal abilities to increase work efficiency by attending trainings, educational sessions and self-improvement;

  13. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks as they arise.

  14. Proactively monitor and resolve any issues that may impact project outcomes.

  15. Keep in close contactwith other Alliance teams;

  16. Proactively support APH's fundraising activities to achieve its mission and strategic goals< /span>

  17. Perform other duties as needed.

The International Charitable Foundation 'Alliance for Public Health' is a leading non-governmental professional organization which makes a significant impact on the epidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and other socially dangerous diseases in Ukraine in cooperation with state partners and civil society organizations through providing financial and technical support to relevant programs, which cover over 300,000 members of the most vulnerable populations, which is the highest indicator in Europe. Currently, the Alliance team includes over 150 professionals who are based in Kyiv.
