Project Manager MHPSS in Malteser Relief Service

Maltese Aid Service» is a charitable organization that has been with Ukrainians for 34 years and helps overcome life's difficulties. We teach how to save lives at our first aid trainings, provide psychological assistance to people affected by the war, and deliver humanitarian aid to the frontline regions of Ukraine to support local residents. For 29 years in a row, we have been conducting the kindest action "Saint Nicholas - for children in need" and we are concerned about lonely old women. "Keeping the faith and helping those in need" is the constant motto of the Order of Malta, whose immediate organizational entity and successor of the spiritual heritage is the Malta Relief Service.  location: Lviv, Ukraine. office 

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education (master, specialist)

• Higher education in the field of psychology will be an advantage

• Experience as a project manager - at least 3 years;  

• Work experience in international and Ukrainian non-governmental organizations and projects financed by foreign donors. 

• Understanding the basics of project management;  

• Experience in team management;  

• Ability to work for results in multitasking conditions;  

• Ability to use Microsoft Office and other relevant software (especially MS Excel).  

Languages: Ukrainian — fluent; English - the required level is not lower than Upper-intermediate (B2)

Main duties and tasks:

• Full support of project implementation, including keeping documentation according to the requirements of partners;  

• Development of work plans with clear intermediate stages and deadlines;

• Ensuring project implementation in accordance with the plan and budget;

• Planning and organizing the work of local managers in the cities of Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sambir, Zolochiv.

• Ensure quality control and data collection for project reporting;  

• Preparation of reports in accordance with the requirements of the donor;  

• Control and evaluation of the project implementation process in cooperation with the monitoring and evaluation team (MEAL);  

• Communication with donors and partners;

• Interaction with procurement and supply specialists, financiers and other employees for the successful implementation of the project;  

• Initiation of meetings with management and their planning for the purpose of reporting on individual stages of project implementation according to the plan

• Adherence to the policies and procedures of the charity "Malta Relief Service" at a high level;  

• Other tasks and functions according to the job description.
