Project Manager/ Manager of projects for the development of volunteerism among young people in ZEST Autsorsing

We are holding a competition for the position "Manager of projects for the development of volunteerism among youth" to the team of the Project Office of Reforms under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Project Office of Reforms under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine is a consultative and advisory body, the purpose of which is the rapid and effective implementation of reforms in the field of digitalization by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. • Coordination of projects and programs related to youth participation in volunteer activities, within the framework of projects and programs that are being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and other stakeholders.

• Development of methodological and analytical materials and projects in the field of youth policy;

• Approbation of developed software products, generalization of practices and application of these developments in the program activities of youth centers to strengthen their capacity in volunteering, entrepreneurship, social development of youth and other innovative programs;

• Participation in the development and support of normative legal acts in the field of youth policy, in particular those related to the development of volunteering among young people.

• Establishing cooperation with the heads of projects and programs implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

• Building effective cooperation and coordinated work for high-quality implementation of projects and programs in the field of volunteering.

• Conducting systematic analysis of data on youth participation in volunteer activities.

• Ensuring youth participation in the development of relevant strategic documents together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and other stakeholders.

• Participation in the development and implementation of projects and programs related to the development of volunteerism among young people.

• Participation in meetings to resolve issues related to volunteering; holding regular meetings with the partner circle for proper monitoring of projects and programs in the field of youth policy in this direction.

• Establishing cooperation with state bodies at all levels to conduct analysis in the field of youth policy regarding the development of volunteering among young people.

• Development of materials, documents, presentations and relevant reporting on volunteering.

• Establishing cooperation with international organizations for the implementation of the best international practices regarding volunteering in Ukraine. Empowerment of youth through their participation in international programs to find effective solutions to solve youth issues.

• Search for the best volunteer initiatives that exist in Ukraine, as well as organizations that involve of their volunteer activities (with a division into areas of volunteering). 

• Execution of other tasks on behalf of the manager.

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher education.

• 2 years of work experience in the field of youth policies, in particular regarding the development of volunteering among young people. Project/program management, monitoring and reporting.

English — Upper Intermediate level will be an advantage.

• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.

• Excellent analytical skills: the ability to analyze diverse and complex information from a wide range of sources in order to form analytical conclusions for decision-making.

• Strong reporting preparation skills.

• < p>Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and networking skills: ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, develop and maintain close working relationships with various implementing partners and colleagues.

• Good computer skills, including experience with various software applications.
