CDI is one of its portfolio companies.About CDICDI: Cash to Digital Infrastructure is building a new-generation mobile wallet tailored for African mass-market consumers. Our transformative solution combines self-service kiosk distribution with a user-friendly mobile app that allows customers to access financial services offline and online.Role OverviewCDI seeks a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to play a vital role in driving the success of two new projects within our portfolio. You will oversee these initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and deliver on time. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, influencing the growth of CDI and its subsidiaries in Africa and RoW.Please note that both projects are under the NDA, and we will share their specifics during the interview.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of project implementation research, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.Conduct market research, analyze financial data, and perform feasibility studies.Develop risk mitigation plans and manage project budgets effectively.Collaborate with the Founders and Finance team to deliver a project/investment memo, financial model, and/or pitch deck.Prepare an internal business plan using combined research and available data.Deliver exceptional presentations and maintain strict confidentiality.Communicate clearly with stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and engaged.Thrive in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Be adaptable and proficient in project management software (GSuite, Notion, etc.).RequirementsMinimum five years of project management experience, preferably in fintech.Knowledge of the cross-border remittance and Pan-African fintech markets.Proven track record of successfully managing projects (on time, within budget).Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with risk mitigation abilities.Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and cost analysis.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in business analysis (market research, feasibility studies, performance metrics).Meticulous attention to detail and a highly organized approach.“Getting things done” attitude to work.Desire to build products and systems that positively impact people’s lives.Fluency in English language (written and verbal).Desirable QualitiesPrevious experience in fintech or financial service businesses.Deep understanding of the global cross-border remittance market.Familiarity with startup culture and fast-paced work environments.BenefitsThis role offers the opportunity to support the founding team at the foundational stages of exciting and impactful projects.
