Ajax Systems — developer and manufacturer of Ajax wireless and wired security systems from capabilities of a smart home. These are 100+ devices, mobile and desktop applications, server infrastructure. The Ajax line includes control centers with its own RTOS (OS Malevich), motion, opening, flood protection and fire sensors, street and home sirens, an alarm button with a device control function, smart sockets and relays.

Ajax sensors protect 2,500,000 users in 187 countries around the world.

The R&D department, which consists of four teams: System, Devices, Automation and QA, is responsible for the development of devices at Ajax.

Device Department develops security and automation devices. And it also poses serious challenges in the following areas:

— Low-Power: devices should work as long as possible from standard batteries;

- Cost: the mass product must remain in the range of the average price segment;

—DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFH (Design for Human): Circuits, housings, and other elements must be easily repeatable in hundreds of thousands of devices in production without loss of quality.

Development is mainly for STM32 (but there are also other MCUs and SoCs), using Embedded C. Already gathered strong expertise and talent from Hardware and Embedded C engineers, industrial designers, mechanical designers .

Required knowledge and skills:

— 3+ years of work experience

— Technical background

- Analytical and systemic thinking

- Ability to get results, release, adhering to estimates and quality

- Knowledge of various development methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)

— Ability to quickly solve problems, see things through and take responsibility

— Ability to solve problems

— Ability to lead negotiation and finding compromises, mastery of facilitation techniques and dependency management (between team, between department)

- Personal organization and multi-tasking, attention to details

- Ability to analyze risks and take them into account in delivery

- Developed People Management skills

- English - no lower than Intermediate
