Project Manager (Games) in Excelytics Ltd

About The Role We are a start-up in stealth mode looking to build up our team and we are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for preparing and executing a gaming project spanning across numerous countries.The ideal candidate will report directly to the CEO and work closely and coordinate with other members of the team to ensure project success. This role is eligible for work from home (WFH) initially with the occasional requirement to travel abroad for training. Eventually relocation (expenses covered by the company) to Gambia will be required to ensure project completion. Objectives of this Role: Relocation to build a team and office infrastructure of ~40 team members in Gambia to execute a manual online game data harvesting projectWork closely with industry veterans abroad who will help with preparation of project plans and assist throughout the projectEnsure success post-completion by building a long-term process teamAdditional Daily Responsibilities: Build and manage project management systems to track resources, budget, and deliverables from project start to completionMeasure, analyze, and report on project status, sharing all relevant project updates with stakeholdersCoordinate, delegate, allocate, and track tasks across all aspects of the projectMaintain project vision and bring up challenges or risks as and when they arriveThe Ideal Candidate: Enjoys being the go-to person for all aspects relating to a project and is proactive with managing and coordinating projectsA stable and calm personality, adept at handling and mitigating issuesHighly capable and passionate about seeing things through to completion with the ability to take accountability for any outcomesHas strong analytical skills and ability to research information to provide answersIs self-motivated, with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to take the initiative and work independentlyWillingness to move from Project Management to Process Management within a short timeframeAble to work with a diverse and multicultural team with a natural curiosity about and empathy for othersIdeally has already lived abroad and would like the opportunity to live in a foreign countryQualifications and Requirements: Higher level educational background, preferably relating to Project ManagementBasic interest and knowledge of the Information Technology industry1+ year (s) working experience as a Project ManagerFluent in English with great communication, listening and influencing skills; high emotional intelligenceKnowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall Project Management techniquesMust be able to travel abroad for work requirementsRecruitment Process: Please submit your resume and a short introduction to yourself in English (applications that are not in English will not be reviewed).
