We are inviting a talented result-oriented Project Manager with strong communication skills and interest in working in the automotive domain.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the client's team of PMs.
In this role, you will not only manage projects but also contribute to establishing and improving internal processes within the PMO.

Our client is a leading company in the European automotive market, with over 20 years of experience in setting standards in the automotive aftermarket worldwide.

Project
The client’s products address the problem of inefficiencies and data inconsistencies in the automotive aftermarket by providing standardized data and software solutions. This improves operational efficiency, enhances data accuracy, and facilitates better communication across the supply chain, significantly impacting the industry’s productivity and reliability.
The domain is complex, with a high entry threshold. However, the client is committed to long-term cooperation, making it rewarding in the long run. The traditional client-vendor relationship is set aside, with all participants being equally valued members of one team. Responsibilities

  • Define project planning and estimation purpose and precision, drive estimation sessions with the team, and transform estimates into timelines
  • Track and manage the project plan, and manage expectations and deviations
  • Plan workload, distribute tasks among the team, and ensure that work is done on schedule and within the allocated budget

  • Manage change requests, track their effect on the budget, and inform stakeholders about any deviations in a timely manner
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders through effective communication at the level required by generally applicable business standards
  • Support the entire Software Engineering cycle for the allocated set of projects (customer communications, requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, maintenance)
  • Communicate risks to stakeholders in a transparent way and provide effective mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to the project life-cycle improvement through lessons learned, project archives, etc.
  • Create appealing and structured weekly/monthly reports
  • Manage project staff: tracking, coordination, and timely notification of management about the need for career growth of staff; avoiding and elimination of conflicts in the team

Requirements
At least 4 years of commercial experience
Understanding of the software development life cycle < Excelent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in people management practices: coaching and mentoring, team and conflict management, team motivation, and team building
Experience in working with requirements and risk management
Experience with planning and tracking work progress
Knowledge of setting effective and transparent KPIs
Experience in communication with customers
High level of self-organization and attention to detail
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

Requirements

At least 4 years of commercialof experience
Understanding of software development life cycle
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in HR practices: coaching and mentoring, team and conflict management, team motivation and team building
Work experience with requirements and risk management
Experience in planning and tracking work progress
Knowledge of setting effective and transparent KPIs
Experience in communicating with clients
High level of self-organization and attention to detail
Proficiency in English language at a level no lower than Upper-Intermediate
