R&D, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA, is responsible for the development of devices at Ajax.

Automation Department develops software and hardware complexes for testing each device in the production process, creates robotic lines for automating assembly and packaging. And also develops software for device firmware and production management, which allows to optimize the time spent on the manufacture of sensors. For this, Python 3 and Embedded C are used.

Tasks:

• Complete management of projects from approval of requirements for automatic testing/firmware/calibration of the device to implementation of all stages on the mass market. production.
• Setting and monitoring the performance of tasks, monitoring the order of boards/components and their installation, inter-team interaction with the device and preprod teams for the release of new devices, with technical by the manufacturing department to scale the developed equipment.
• Conducting kick-off and other activities, keeping meeting notes, monitoring the preparation of project documentation, instructions for working with test equipment, programs.
• Troubleshooting projects that are already in production.
• Assistance in the processes of people management, team building.
• Management of supporting projects required for optimization/automation of processes in the team, interaction between departments, optimization of the launch of pilot batches, modernization of production.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 2+ years of commercial experience as a PM/BA/Manufacturing Automation Manager
• Successful release experience several projects, including those related to hardware. The more diverse, the better.
• Proactivity, leadership, high self-organization.
• The ability to listen and hear others, clearly and concisely convey your thoughts.
• Basic understanding of how electronic devices work, what they are made of.
• Experience in facilitating meetings aimed at finding the optimal solution in a group of diverse specialists
• Ability to quickly solve emerging issues. quickly switch between tasks, take responsibility for decision-making.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in hardware projects, IoT. automation of production.
• General understanding of how the production of electronic devices works.
• Experience working with Python desktop application development projects.
• Understanding and following the principles of Servant Leadership.
