Waites Inc. is an international IT company that develops a system for condition control, preventive monitoring and diagnostics of vibrating equipment.

We provide a full product development cycle, from designing and manufacturing our own sensors, data modules, gateways and our radio protocol to processing billions of incoming telemetry data, machine learning, web mapping systems, analytics systems and mobile applications.

Our systems help customers detect equipment malfunctions long before they fail and plan repair or replacement without loss.

We are looking for a new player to strengthen the management team. The most important thing for a Project Manager is a: the desire to work in this field, to move mountains, to develop at a frantic pace, and to have a spark in the eyes to get results.

Required knowledge and skills:

• experience of 2 years of project management in the IT field as a technical PM;
• leadership, proactivity and a high level of self-organization;
• analytical, systemic and critical thinking;
• experience in working with releases where several teams are involved at the same time;
• knowledge and experience of using flexible development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), the ability to adapt them to the needs of the project;
• knowledge of classical project management principles;
• high communication skills: the ability to find compromises with interested parties, obtain and find out all the necessary information;
• the ability to quickly solve problems, make decisions and take responsibility;
• the ability to work with a team, regardless of your or your team's mood, to lead, coordinate and motivate;
• English is not lower than Upper Intermediate

It will be a plus:

• experience in hardware projects in the field of IoT.
• experience of working with cross-platform projects
• experience of working in a product company.

Tasks:

• delivery of the release on time, qualitatively and efficiently;
• creation of new or adaptation of existing processes of interaction with related systems;
• conducting negotiations on technical issues with developers;
• prompt resolution of issues arising in the delivery process;
• project change and risk management;
• estimating the scope of work and planning releases;
• participation in prioritization and maintaining the relevance of the backlog;
• planning and prioritization of release tasks for the team;
• interaction with the technical leader and architect at all stages of project development;
• interaction with stakeholders and the product owner;
• organization and modification of operational and work processes in the team to optimize the use of resources;
• team resource management (organization and participation in hiring, firing, creation of personal development plans of employees);
• solving organizational issues to maintain the comfort of the team and concentration on the result.
