Project Manager (Artolution), Odesa

Project name: Ukrainian Public Art Program 2024

Duration of the project: 4 months (July-October 2024 r.)

Foundation online sessions June 2024

Geographic coverage : Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy, one location in each oblast, priority is given to rural areas. 

The goal of the project will be to provide an opportunity children and young people to work with professional artist-pedagogues, discuss important social issues and advocate for positive social changes in their communities, in strengthening their well-being through joint art-making practices (murals) and supporting local artists through capacity building (training) 4-8 new artists using the Artolution public art methodology.  

TASKS AND DUTIES:

General coordination of the project:

• Planning and control of all stages project from start to finish.
• Ensuring effective cooperation between all project participants.
• Setting and meeting deadlines for tasks.

Project documentation, correspondence, other communication with project partners;

Establishing communication with local authorities, conducting negotiations and concluding memorandums of cooperation;

Searching for suitable places to create a mural and obtaining the necessary permits;

Organization and participation in work trips to the settlements of the project implementation;

Providing on-site support and coordination during mural creation;

Conducting information campaigns to attract children and their parents to participate in the project;

Organization of meetings and communications to involve the local community;

Inviting and involving artists in the selected locality to participate in a training session on creating a mural together with children

Organization of 2 trainings (providing logistics, including organization of meals, creation of registration forms, lists of participants, other documentation, communication with them, etc.)

Organization of purchasing snacks for community events

Interim and final reporting on project results?

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher education in the field of law, management (management) or other humanitarian field;
• Experience in project management or relevant experience;
• Knowledge of verbal and written English;
• Knowledge of internal displacement issues;
• Excellent computer skills (required MS Office);
• Experience of working in inclusive and multicultural teams will be an advantage;

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:?

• Willingness to travel;
• Strong negotiation skills;
• Strict adherence to humanitarian principles and standards
• Ability to organize a team, maintain cohesion and a comfortable atmosphere
• Critical thinking to objectively analyze needs and benefits and find the best solution.
• Availability of own PC

WE OFFER:

Conclusion of a contract for the provision of services, FOP, 3 gr, a decent salary level from 35 thousand, work in a friendly and motivated environment.
