Project Manager in Metacarbon

Metacarbon is a boutique product design company helping product teams build well-crafted user experiences for SaaS, Fintech, Web3 and Consumer Web domains.

We work with mature companies and startups from EMEA, US and Scandinavian markets and actively contribute into the product design community with the knowledge we gain within our journey.

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and help us streamline our processes even better.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Project Management: Ideally, in a design-driven service company or software development house;
• Solid understanding of software product development lifecycle;
• Experience of direct cooperation with product designers (UI/UX);
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies;
• Good client service attitude. Experience in day-to-day cooperation with product teams, startup teams across the world;
• Perfect communication and proficiency in English, both written and verbal;
• Ability to quickly switch between the contrexts and stay organized;
• Strong personal interest in the industry;
• Good taste to be on the same page with the design fellows;

Responsibilities:

• Internal Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans including timelines, commitments, deliverables, and cooperation formats;
  
  
• Ongoing management of multiple projects, ensuring they stay on track and meet deadlines;

• Team collaboration: Work closely with product designers and client teams during workshops, daily syncs, and requirements elicitation sessions;
  
  
• Pre-Sale Activities: Participate in activities that support the sales process;
  
  
• Resource Planning & Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project demands, track time and prepare the representative reports;
  
  
• Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding milestones, daily updates, workload, upcoming sprints. Help inhouse team with task decomposition;
  
  
• Vendor Management: Manage existing external vendors and communicate with potential vendors;
  
  
• Budget Management: Handle budget management, invoicing for clients, and project-related payroll.
