For the new long-term project, inalliance with Danish partner organizations, weare going topilot amodel for rebuilding sustainable child- and youth care inUkraine. The project will consist of «hard» and «soft» components, which includes the construction and social parts. For the realization ofthis project weare looking for anexperienced and committed Project Manager (f/m) Location: Ukraine Type ofcontract: Employment contract Duration: about 4 years starting from 2024 Requirements: University degree inEconomics, Social Sciences, Management orother related fields. Atleast 3 years ofexperience inproject management inNGOs. Knowledge ofProject Cycle Management including needs assessment, project design, development and implementation, M&E, reporting. Strong leadership skills, ability tolead/coordinate/motivate and support field office staff. Flexible, able towork inateam and independently inafast paced and often changing environment. Ability toestablish strong and effective working relationships with colleagues and partners. Excellent organisational and problem solving skills, strong negogiation skills. Ability toadapt tochanging circumstances, work under pressure and cope with stress Proficiency inEnglish and Ukrainian, written and spoken. Good proficiency inthe use ofMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online video conferencing tools (MSTeams, Zoom etc.). Sharing the values, aims and objectives oforganisation, and commitment tohumanitarian principles and international humanitarian standards. Main tasks and responsibilities: Ensures the implementation ofthe project inaccordance with the contract and donor`s requirements. Fulfils the approved project terms and conditions, meet deadlines, monitors the achievement ofthe project goals. Actively participates inrecruitment and effectively manages project staff. Provides support for field staff inplanning and implementation ofthe project through regular meetings and field visits. Provides monitoring and evaluation ofthe project, i.e. daily/weekly/monthly monitoring, mid-term review and final evaluation. Responsible for regular budget follow-up, ensures that expenses are inline with the budget, explains the deviations between plans and actuals. Participates inprocurement procedures, keeping the organization`s policies. Prepares reports, updates, presentations and other necessary documents for working meetings, conferences, etc.with relevant stakeholders torepresent the project orasper donors’ requests. Keeps the team informed ofthe latest security information based onthe recommendations given bythe Security Advisor. Ensures that child safeguarding and child protection are streamlined inall operations and activities. Ensures adherence toSOSCV policies and procedures aswell astointernational humanitarian standards and principles. Ensures regular reporting onprogramme activities and onthe financial situation.
