Project Manager in Ornis

Who we are

Ornis is a recruiting agency with a focus on the IT market. We are currently conducting an exclusive search for our client, an international product company developing a B2B platform for the fintech sector. The team is 150+ people, offices in Ukraine and Poland, the product is actively being scaled to EU markets.

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced Project Manager who will take full responsibility for managing several parallel projects. You will be the link between the business and the engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of the product.

Main responsibilities

• Managing the full cycle of projects: from initiation to closure
• Sprint planning, backlog formation together with the Product Owner
• Management of risks, dependencies and escalation blockers
• Communication with stakeholders - regular status updates, reports, calls
• Control of project budget and resource planning
• Facilitation of Scrum ceremonies: planning, retrospectives, demos
• Onboarding of new team members and support of team culture
• Continuous improvement of internal processes teams

Requirements

• Experience as a Project Manager or Team Lead in IT from 2 years
• Sure knowledge of Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams (development, QA, design, analytics)
• Skills in managing risks and changes in projects
• Experience in working with Jira, Confluence, Miro or similar
• Upper-Intermediate+ English - regular communication with foreign partners
• Strong communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts

Will be a plus

• PMP, PRINCE2 or PSM certificate
• Experience in managing projects in fintech, e-commerce or SaaS
• Understanding technical team stack (not required to code, but understand)
• Experience working with distributed international teams
