GO "Southern Development Strategy" (SDS) is looking for a Project Manager
< p>Our team develops and implements project solutions that (1) restore the lives of communities; (2) develop territories and industries; (3) create new and rapid opportunities for the affected population. The geography of our projects includes 11 regions of Ukraine, but the main focus is on the front-line southern and eastern regions. residents of the Kherson region.We are looking for a specialist/position who will be responsible for complex effective management of office and field teams implementing UNICEF project activities in communities of the Kherson region.
The Project Manager's team includes the following technicians/officers in: (1) distribution, (2) cash and voucher assistance, (3) inclusion, (4) engineering and construction, (5) emergency response, (6) reporting, (7) communications and events, (8) teams of field assistants in the city of Kherson, village Velyka Oleksandrivka, village Vysokopilly, village Borozentsi, village Novovorontsovtsi et al. Novoraisk.
Daily will interact with finance, procurement, logistics, legal , MEAL and communication departments of the Organization.
The Project Manager reports to and is subordinate to the Operational and Program Directors of the Organization.
The project includes the following key activities: span>
1. Distribution of seven types of humanitarian aid throughout the year in Kherson region communities (hygienic kits for families, children, people with special needs, fuel briquettes, winter clothes, blankets, etc.).
2. Registration for cash assistance and the transition from 25% of the hygienic needs of the residents of the Kherson region from the delivery of humanitarian goods to the use of vouchers at trading points.
3. Provision of institutional hygiene kits for health care facilities.
4. Repairs of toilets, showers, water supply and drainage systems in healthcare facilities.
5. Program of training events for employees of utility companies that provide water, heat and, and gas supply in communities of the Kherson region regarding the specifics of project implementation at the expense of international technical assistance, work in the DREAM system, use of sustainable technologies, etc.
6. Informing beneficiaries about PSEA, GBV, promotion of hygienic practices.
7. Carrying out GBV audits in public institutions and public places in communities of the Kherson region and using the target budget to implement recommendations for improvements.
8. Development of a plan and deployment of emergency humanitarian assistance in the field of hygiene and water needs in the event of a change in the front line or man-made disasters.
He/she will work closely with all departments of the Organization, local, national and international stakeholders, the cluster system of international humanitarian aid (WASH, Shelter, Logistics, Protection).
Working conditions:

Main duties:1. Development of a plan, a calendar, an algorithm for the implementation of project activities and the distribution of those responsible.2. Control of those responsible for the quality and timeliness of the implementation of the project implementation plan.
3. Timely identification and minimization of project risks in accordance with the requirements of the Organization and the Donor.
4. Productive cooperation with the Organization's finance specialistsseeds, accounting, logistics, procurement, communication, monitoring and evaluation, by lawyers of all levels and others for the sake of a joint team result.
5. Coordination and control over high-quality and timely preparation of project documentation and reporting in accordance with donor standards, including descriptive, statistical, analytical and financial reporting related to project activities;
6. Control of compliance with policies and provisions of Donors and organizations of all processes related to project implementation;
7. Project budget monitoring and project procurement in accordance with donor instructions and organization policies with the support of financial and administrative staff.
8. Presentation of the project during the relevant agreements with the Donor's representatives.
9. Coordination of activities and plans with representatives of local offices of international organizations, local self-government bodies and state authorities, law enforcement agencies in the Kherson region.
10. Participation in coordination activities, platforms including WASH and Shelter,Logistics,Protection clusters, Cash Working Group (CWG) and others.

Qualification requirements:
- Higher education in managerial, legal, technical, socio-behavioral, humanitarian sciences.
- 3 years of experience in state administration, law enforcement agencies, local self-government public sector, international development or humanitarian response, business, scientific and educational institutions.
- Previous experience related to humanitarian response is an advantage. span>
- Advanced oral and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English (B2) languages for training reports and correspondence.
- Intuitive leadership skills and proven experience in managing teams.
- The ability to find a common language with people of different social experiences.
- Confident use of spreadsheet programs (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel).
- Responsible attitude to deadlines, procedures, rules and quality of the result.
- Developed emotional intelligence to maintain a healthy atmosphere in the team.
- Interest in quickly learning new experiences, topics, approaches in work.
- Personal interest in the topics of combating the consequences of war, engaging citizens, rebuilding communities, economic development, and solving socially important problems.
